Go For a Swim

Blackburn Lake

A stones throw from the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga, Blackburn Lake is a great spot to cool off on a hot summer day. Clothing optional.
From The Centre, turn right on Blackburn Road and drive to Fulford-Ganges Road. Turn right and then another right soon after, opposite the Cedar View Mobile Home Park.

Cusheon Lake

If clothing optional isn’t your cup of tea, then Cusheon Lake is the second closest lake to the Centre. Also very beautiful and equally refreshing.
From The Centre, turn right on Blackburn Road and drive to Fulford-Ganges Road. Turn left then a quick right onto Cusheon Lake Road. Drive until you see the public dock on your right.

Head Into Town

Ganges

Salt Spring’s central community, this bustling metropolis is the Gulf Islands’ only “town.” The town offers funky shops, restaurants, cafes, book stores, galleries, groceries, and more. Don’t miss the famous Saturday Farmers Market in the summer and fall.

Fulford

This funky village has a wonderful collection of unique shops and cafes for its size. It’s also home to one of the island’s three ferry terminals.
