Yoga Teacher Training – Schedule

Salt Spring Centre of Yoga
First session begins Tuesday, July 3rd at 4:30 pm and ends on Monday, July 16th at 1:30 pm.
Second session begins Thursday, August 9th at 4:30 pm and ends on Sunday, August 19th at 1:30 pm.

5:30 am Wake up
6:00-7:00 am Shath Karma
7:00-9:00 am Pranayama and Meditation
9:15-10:50 am Asana
11:00-12:30 pm Brunch
1:00-2:30 pm Theory Class
2:30-3:30 pm Snack/Break
3:30-6:15 pm Asana clinic
6:15-7:15 pm Dinner/Break
7:30 -9:00 pm Theory Class

How to prepare for this intensive schedule

This training immerses you into the discipline of yoga with the aim of cultivating health, spiritual growth and personal transformation. You may find some aspects of the schedule and curriculum to be initially quite challenging. For example 6:00 am wake up, sitting practices of pranayama and meditation, vegetarian diet and a full day of activities. We highly recommend integrating these aspects into your daily routine, where practical, prior to attending this training to ensure that your experience is empowering and uncompromised. Aim to be healthy, rested and regularly practicing yoga to fully reap the rewards of this transformational training.
