Patricia Curtiss has had a mindfulness and yoga practice for more than two decades. She was trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at the Centre for Mindfulness Studies in Toronto and through the lineage of Vipassana Meditation. Patricia is also a Yoga instructor (600 HR RYT) in Classical Ashtanga and Akhanda Yoga.
In her 9-5 life, Patricia has worked as a coach, organizational development consultant and as a facilitator/trainer in Nonviolent Communication. She has spent much of her life in the out-of-doors, leading trips in the wilderness as well as internationally. Patricia is the current General Manager at the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga. Patricia holds a Masters in Organizational Systems with a specialization in Leadership and Organizational Development, and a Bachelors in Tourism Management.
