Salt Spring Island, the most populous of British Columbia’s Gulf Islands, is located between the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.

With a year-round population of about 11,000 that swells to more than 30,000 in the high season, Salt Spring is a highly sought-after destination and vacation hotspot in BC.  The island has deep roots in agriculture, arts and culture, and environmental sustainability, and is dense with both nature and local business. The rural roads are decorated with farm stands, wildlife, and berry bushes. In addition to having points of access to the ocean all around the island, Salt Spring also boasts several freshwater lakes for swimming and recreation.

Experiencing the island as part of your stay at the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga is one of the many perks of coming to stay, study, and play with us.
