Programs

In-Person Programs & Personal Retreats

Payment Policy

  • We require payment, in full, at the time of booking to confirm your registration.

Cancellation Policy & Fees

  • If you cancel one month or more prior to arrival, you will be charged a 15% processing fee and the balance of your payment will be refunded to you.
  • If you cancel within 1 month but more than 24 hours before arrival, you will be charged a 30% processing fee and the balance of your payment will be refunded.
  • No refunds are given if you cancel within 24 hours of, or during, your program.
  • If the Centre cancels any program, you will receive a full refund.
  • Donations made at the time of your registration are not eligible for refund.

The Salt Spring Centre is not responsible for travel reservations booked to attend cancelled programs. Please check airline or ferry cancellation policies.
Some programs have other special deposit requirements and/or cancellation policies that are explained at time of booking.

Change Policy & Fees

  • If you wish to transfer your registration from one Salt Spring Centre of Yoga program to another Centre program that is open for registration, you will be charged a 15% change fee, plus the difference in the cost of the program, if applicable.

Online Programs

  • We require payment, in full, at the time of booking to confirm your registration.
  • Cancellation for online programs that provide recordings (whether video or audio only) are not eligible for refunds or credits.
  • If the Centre cancels any online program, you will receive a full refund.
  • Donations made at the time of your registration are not eligible for refund.

Yoga Teacher Training

Cancellation Policy & Fees

  • We require payment in full prior to the start of the first date of the training. Payment plans are available.
  • The registration/application fee is non-refundable.
  • There are no refunds for materials received ahead of the training start date.
  • If you cancel one month or more prior to arrival:
    • The tuition paid to date, less fees for any program materials received to date, will be refunded in full.
    • You will be charged a 15% processing fee for the meals and accommodations costs for Part I and the balance can be refunded or kept as a Salt Spring Centre credit available for 2 years for any in-person program.
  • If you cancel within 1 month but more than 48 hours before arrival:
    • The tuition paid to date, less fees for any program materials received to date, will be refunded in full.
    • You will be charged a 30% processing fee for the meals and accommodations costs for Session 1 and the balance can be refunded or kept as a Salt Spring Centre credit available for 2 years for any in-person program.
  • If a student withdraws or is dismissed within 7 days of the program start date:
    • You will be charged a 60% processing fee for the tuition costs and the balance can be refunded or kept as a Salt Spring Centre credit available for 2 years for any in-person program.
    • Meals and accommodations costs for Part I (July Session) will not be refunded
    • Meals and accommodations costs for Part II (August Session) can be refunded or kept as a Salt Spring Centre credit available for 2 years for any in-person program.
  • If a student withdraws or is dismissed after 7 days of the Yoga Teacher Training start date, no refunds will be issued.
  • Credits are transferable with written authorization.

Damages

Damage Policy & Fees

As a guest of the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga, you are responsible for any damages beyond typical wear and tear that you or your party cause to the room or property during your stay – regardless of whether the damages occur due to intentional, negligent, or reckless behavior.

These damages may include, but are not restricted to:

  • the cost of replacing damaged items or stolen/broken property.
  • deep cleaning costs for soiled linens, towels, mattress covers, mattresses, etc.

The primary guest and the credit card on file will be charged for any damages.

Services

Wellness Treatments

  • For the best chance of booking at your preferred day and time, we recommend that you book at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Cancellations and changes are accepted up to 24 hours prior to your appointment time.
  • Payment in full will be required for late cancellations or no-shows, with the exception of emergency situations (at the discretion of the practitioner).

Sauna Bookings

  • Minimum 48 hours advanced notice required for booking and payment.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your session. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after this time.
  • The sauna may not be available for booking during peak fire season on the island. If we are forced to cancel your booking due to an official fire ban, you will receive a full refund.
