Come and connect with new and old friends surrounded by nature, a supportive community and deeply nourishing lacto-vegetarian meals. We have an extensive kid’s program so everyone can reflect and renew through the timeless practices of yoga.
Our experienced and knowledgeable elders and teachers provide connection and instruction across all 8 limbs of yoga including purifying cleansing practices, breathwork, meditation, philosophy, and of course movement and posture classes.
You can sing, chant, and participate in ceremony. You can rest, play, and go for forest walks. It’s up to you!

An interspiritual gathering rooted in the lineage of Ram Dass and Neem Karoli Baba and centering the teachings of Bhakti Yoga and Buddhism.
Anchored with mantra, meditation, and ritual, the core practice of this retreat is Sacred Community. We practice seeing the Divine everywhere—in nature, in each other, and in ourselves—and we act in reverence to this Truth. In this way, we help each other awaken from separation and into the Heart of Love.
Who we are is deeper than our thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, or social roles. These are like clouds happening within the sky of our Awareness. As we awaken to this, we learn that this Awareness is not isolated to our own mind. It is the fabric of Reality and the Relational Web that connects us. Ram Dass called this Loving-Awareness. As Pavan Das says, “Just as sunlight is warm, our Awareness is naturally loving.”
By gathering in Satsang (spiritual community) and engaging in sadhana (practice), we gain Darshan (vision) and behold this Love everywhere.

Salt Spring Island, “The Wild Within”
Experience a unique nature immersion on Salt Spring Island, a special location to celebrate human movement, enhance nature connection, and promote human ‘wildness’ (wellness). You will enjoy fresh air, dense forests, clean water, organic food, ‘nutritious movement’, diverse wildlife, at the beautiful Salt Spring Centre of Yoga.
A large organic farm, fruit orchards, and a permaculture forest surround this 69-acre retreat. Food from the farm will nourish you during your immersion. The Centre borders the Blackburn Lake nature reserve, home to over 110 species. You will arrive at your immersion destination via a scenic ferry ride from Vancouver through the Gulf Islands. This will mark a significant transition to begin your journey.
During your immersion you will:
- Experience nature-based yoga, wild parcours, animal flow and more – all movements that thoughtfully (and safely) connect you with nature and your inner wild.

While studying Exercise Physiology and working as a personal trainer at the University of British Columbia, yoga found me.
At the time, much of my life was devoted to physical exercise, fitness and competition. My body was fit, but my mind was scattered and lacked clarity.
Shortly after completing my Bachelor’s degree, I traveled to India for the first time. I was immediately struck by the simplicity of life, and the reverence and devotion to a spiritual practice — something I lacked. I decided to dedicate myself to a daily yoga practice, hoping to find some of the simplicity and devotion I had witnessed in India.
Upon my return, I began a Master’s degree in Breathing Physiology. My studies ignited me to explore my physical practice on a deeper level, and consequently, I found Babylon Yoga, a grassroots community of Ashtanga Yoga practitioners. There, I studied under Kevin Grodesky and Chris Richardson. Their fluid style of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga method attracted me instantly; the focus on linking the breath and movement felt both natural and methodical. The practice soon became a fundamental part of my life and ultimately, led me to teacher training.
Kevin and Chris introduced me to Ron Reid, Marla Meenakshi Joy and Diane Bruni from Downward Dog Yoga Centre in Toronto. I dove into teacher training at their studio, and over the past 10 years, I have travelled to many parts of the world to continue my education with them, and have completely over 500 hours of teacher training with Downward Dog Yoga Centre.
After finishing my Master’s degree, I found myself living in Tel Aviv, a move I made for the love of my life. In Tel Aviv, I practiced and taught Mysore and led classes and completed a 500 hour teacher training program with Eyal Chehanowski at Lotus Yoga School. I began teaching functional anatomy and physiology in the Lotus Yoga School teacher-training program in 2011 and continue to be part of their faculty today. I have co-directed two teacher training programs with Eyal Chehanowski and Vicky Tomsky, teaching asana, hands on assists, functional anatomy, physiology and the fundamentals of teaching.
For the last several years I have been studying with Stacey Brass Russel in New York City and am truly grateful for the guidance she has given me and how her teachings have shaped my practice and teaching today. I have also begun studying the art of Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater and am now a certified Relax and Renew level 1 teacher.
I have tremendous respect and gratitude for all the teachers and the lineage of teachers that have informed my practice and teaching. I hope to carry on the spirit of their teachings in my own practice and to share the blessings I receive from this practice with my students.

Have you been looking for a silent yoga and meditation retreat? A deeper experience that will help you to become present, still your mind, and move further inwards?
If you have some general experience with yoga and meditation but are looking to dive deeper in your spiritual practice then this is the retreat for you.
Going Deeper is a silent retreat created by renowned spiritual teacher Baba Hari Dass, specifically for the purposes of turning our focus inwards. Using a blend of yogic techniques including postures, breathwork, chanting and meditation, each day devotes several hours to spiritual practices that guide you away from external distraction and towards your inner self.
To support this aim, we observe a vow of silence, maintain a simple and easy-to-digest vegetarian diet, and preserve a cave-like atmosphere of seclusion where windows are covered and lights kept to a minimum.
What retreat participants earn through this austere journey is a feeling of being more present, a mind that is comparatively still, and a sense of being more deeply connected to their inner selves.

An interspiritual gathering rooted in the lineage of Ram Dass and Neem Karoli Baba and centering the teachings of Bhakti Yoga and Buddhism.
Anchored with mantra, meditation, and ritual, the core practice of this retreat is Sacred Community. We practice seeing the Divine everywhere—in nature, in each other, and in ourselves—and we act in reverence to this Truth. In this way, we help each other awaken from separation and into the Heart of Love.
Who we are is deeper than our thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, or social roles. These are like clouds happening within the sky of our Awareness. As we awaken to this, we learn that this Awareness is not isolated to our own mind. It is the fabric of Reality and the Relational Web that connects us. Ram Dass called this Loving-Awareness. As Pavan Das says, “Just as sunlight is warm, our Awareness is naturally loving.”
By gathering in Satsang (spiritual community) and engaging in sadhana (practice), we gain Darshan (vision) and behold this Love everywhere.

Salt Spring Island, “The Wild Within”
Experience a unique nature immersion on Salt Spring Island, a special location to celebrate human movement, enhance nature connection, and promote human ‘wildness’ (wellness). A large organic farm, fruit orchards, and a permaculture forest surround this 69-acre retreat. Food from the farm will nourish you during your immersion. The Centre borders the Blackburn Lake nature reserve, home to over 110 species. You will arrive at your immersion destination via a scenic ferry ride from Vancouver through the Gulf Islands. This will mark a significant transition to begin your journey.
During your immersion you will:

Going on retreat is an invitation to come home to yourself. It’s dedicated time to focus on your practice, to move more slowly and deeply inwards without the responsibilities of everyday life consuming your awareness.
This retreat will bring together dynamic practices with long savasana and opportunities for introspection in meditation, yoga nidra and restorative yoga.
Time in nature hiking and exploring the wild west coast will complement the yoga practices as being surrounded by the majesty of nature is another way to dive inwards towards our true selves.

While studying Exercise Physiology and working as a personal trainer at the University of British Columbia, yoga found me.
At the time, much of my life was devoted to physical exercise, fitness and competition. My body was fit, but my mind was scattered and lacked clarity.
Shortly after completing my Bachelor’s degree, I traveled to India for the first time. I was immediately struck by the simplicity of life, and the reverence and devotion to a spiritual practice — something I lacked. I decided to dedicate myself to a daily yoga practice, hoping to find some of the simplicity and devotion I had witnessed in India.
Upon my return, I began a Master’s degree in Breathing Physiology. My studies ignited me to explore my physical practice on a deeper level, and consequently, I found Babylon Yoga, a grassroots community of Ashtanga Yoga practitioners. There, I studied under Kevin Grodesky and Chris Richardson. Their fluid style of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga method attracted me instantly; the focus on linking the breath and movement felt both natural and methodical. The practice soon became a fundamental part of my life and ultimately, led me to teacher training.
Kevin and Chris introduced me to Ron Reid, Marla Meenakshi Joy and Diane Bruni from Downward Dog Yoga Centre in Toronto. I dove into teacher training at their studio, and over the past 10 years, I have travelled to many parts of the world to continue my education with them, and have completely over 500 hours of teacher training with Downward Dog Yoga Centre.
After finishing my Master’s degree, I found myself living in Tel Aviv, a move I made for the love of my life. In Tel Aviv, I practiced and taught Mysore and led classes and completed a 500 hour teacher training program with Eyal Chehanowski at Lotus Yoga School. I began teaching functional anatomy and physiology in the Lotus Yoga School teacher-training program in 2011 and continue to be part of their faculty today. I have co-directed two teacher training programs with Eyal Chehanowski and Vicky Tomsky, teaching asana, hands on assists, functional anatomy, physiology and the fundamentals of teaching.
For the last several years I have been studying with Stacey Brass Russel in New York City and am truly grateful for the guidance she has given me and how her teachings have shaped my practice and teaching today. I have also begun studying the art of Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater and am now a certified Relax and Renew level 1 teacher.
I have tremendous respect and gratitude for all the teachers and the lineage of teachers that have informed my practice and teaching. I hope to carry on the spirit of their teachings in my own practice and to share the blessings I receive from this practice with my students.

Have you been looking for a silent yoga and meditation retreat? A deeper experience that will help you to become present, still your mind, and move further inwards?
If you have some general experience with yoga and meditation but are looking to dive deeper in your spiritual practice then this is the retreat for you.
Going Deeper is a silent retreat created by renowned spiritual teacher Baba Hari Dass, specifically for the purposes of turning our focus inwards. Using a blend of yogic techniques including postures, breathwork, chanting and meditation, each day devotes several hours to spiritual practices that guide you away from external distraction and towards your inner self.
To support this aim, we observe a vow of silence, maintain a simple and easy-to-digest vegetarian diet, and preserve a cave-like atmosphere of seclusion where windows are covered and lights kept to a minimum.
What retreat participants earn through this austere journey is a feeling of being more present, a mind that is comparatively still, and a sense of being more deeply connected to their inner selves.
