Chetna has recently retired from her extensive 27-year career with the Ministry of Children and Family Development. She has experience and a broad knowledge of government policies, legislation and regulation pertaining to that department, and in the process, developed strong organizational, administrative and project management skills.Her ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships with colleagues is exemplary as she has a deep respect for the importance of interpersonal relationships.
Chetna graduated from the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga Teacher Training program in 2003 and is also a 1000+hour Certified International Association of Yoga Therapist, specializing in Yoga for Cancer.
She joined the faculty of the Salt Spring Centre’s Yoga Teacher Training program in 2007, and in 2018 accepted the position of YTT Program Director.
She draws inspiration from her deep belief that all beings are potentially limitless. Bearing witness to the transformational and healing effect Yoga has on people’s lives has had a strong influence on her own life.
