Event Details
Yin yoga practice increases circulation in the joints and brings fresh energy into connective tissue opening up the fascia which covers our body, making us feel more open and everything a little bit more ‘juicy’.
These Yin classes are slow and meditative and will help to switch off and tune in. During gentle guided practice, we place emphasis on softening and releasing, all the while observing the gentle rhythm of our breath. Longer held poses also invite us to bring our gaze inwards into a deeper meditative state which activates the parasympathetic nervous system calming the body and lowering stress and anxiety.
At the core of these sessions is the idea that we can heal ourselves through relaxing mentally, physically and spiritually.
Having a yoga nidra meditation to complete the yin session beautifully completes this deeply nurturing practice. Our yoga nidra meditation can be as restorative as sleep while remaining fully conscious and promotes radical rest.
