It’s time to gather. Gather the Women.
The word Samhain comes from the Irish Gaelic word for “summer’s end”. The days have become shorter, and the darker half of the solar year is upon us. At this time, farmers would use up the remaining stores of perishable fruits and vegetables, preserving other foods to sustain them through the cold and dark season. It is a holiday of reflection and celebration. At Samhain, we cast off the old year’s attachments and turn our attention to the coming scarcity of winter. We feast on the last of summer’s bounty. We contemplate what is worth saving and nurturing the dark of winter.
We will be gathering for a three day retreat at the beautiful Salt Spring Yoga Centre. During this weekend of yoga and celebration, we will practice yoga, dance, hold a women’s circle, have a sauna in the woodfire sauna, eat food freshly prepared from the land, spend time in nature and reflect on what has passed and dream into what is coming.
Space is limited.

Yoga has been in my life for as long as I can remember. For me, yoga is sacred, healing and powerful.
This is how it has personally affected my life and my spirit. Whenever I have needed clarity, insight or support, my practice has provided them, without fail. It is my honor to teach. To share what I have learned and practiced from my teachers is a way for me to share what I know and what has helped me. Seva, or service, has always been a big part of yoga and my practice and teaching is a way for me to practice being of service to others.
I founded Namaha Yoga School in 2015. Together with teachers from around the world, we have taught numerous training’s around the globe, teaching what we practice and love. In 2013, I became a certified Jivamukti teacher, what added another layer of depth and love to my teachings.
My teacher says it best: We are all reflections of the sun, separately shining our own light but collectively part of something bigger than ourselves.
