🌱 We're hiring: Kitchen Manager at the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga! 🍽️

Are you a talented and passionate culinary professional looking for an opportunity to lead a vegetarian kitchen grounded in yogic values and sustainability? Join us at the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga as our new Kitchen Manager!

✨ Position highlights:
📍 Location: Salt Spring Island, BC
📅 Start Date: February 15, 2025
⏰ Type: Full-Time, Seasonal (February–December)

Key responsibilities:
🍴 Lead kitchen operations, including meal planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
🥗 Create balanced, delicious, vegetarian meals for community and retreat guests (25–300 people).
🌾 Collaborate with our farm team to incorporate fresh, local produce into meals.
👩‍🍳 Oversee and mentor a diverse kitchen team of staff and volunteers.
💡 Plan menus that align with dietary restrictions and the principles of sattvic living.
🌟 Foster teamwork, mindfulness, and a positive kitchen environment.

What we’re looking for:
✔️ Proven kitchen management experience.
✔️ Culinary expertise in vegetarian and vegan cuisine.
✔️ Strong leadership and organizational skills.
✔️ A passion for sustainable, mindful living and community-focused work.
