About this Retreat 

There are moments when you begin to realize you can keep yourself busy, distracted, moving from one thing to the next, and still feel something unresolved underneath. You have “done the work”; read the books and listened to the podcasts. You have been seeking and learning but…the same patterns keep returning. Something is holding you back in how you live, love, and show up.

This is because “the work” is not about the learning, and the moments of calm and even bliss, it is about the deep body and mind remembering, integration, and recalibration.

There comes a point where you can no longer escape it. Something deeper calls you to stop avoiding and turn inward.

Not everyone is ready for that. But if you are…you already know it.

This is where the work begins… You may already know your patterns. You may understand where they come from. And yet, they’re still there.

Because understanding your patterns is not the same as being free from them. Because real change doesn’t happen at the surface. It happens in the emotional and energetic layers of who you are, where safety, self-worth, and acceptance are actually felt.

This is where something begins to shift.
From control to inner safety.
From self-abandonment to self-trust.

And as that shifts, so does the way you relate to yourself and to others. You no longer have to hold everything together to feel safe, or lose yourself to feel loved. You begin to feel at ease within yourself, more open, more balanced, more free to love, and to be fully yourself, in a way that is naturally felt by others.

This shift comes from learning how to truly embody a different way of being.

And as you begin to embody that, it naturally changes how you live, how you love,

and what you allow yourself to experience.

The Experience

This retreat is designed as an immersive space to step out of your habitual patterns,

and fully turn inward. Throughout the retreat, you are guided through a process that unfolds across different layers.

Through workshops, journaling, and guided inquiry, you begin to uncover what’s been shaping your patterns, your relationships, and the way you move through life.

Through yoga, movement, breath, and sound, you release what has been held and create space for something new to emerge.

This multidimensional approach includes:

  • Practices adapted to what you are experiencing emotionally
    • Exploration of masculine and feminine dynamics within
    • Understanding how beliefs, emotions, and energy interact
    • Tools to recognize and move through patterns such as control, fear, and self-sabotage

And beyond the inner work, there is space to integrate: 

Time in nature, walking, breathing, and allowing space between sessions.
Moments with nothing to do, where things begin to settle.
Nourishing meals.
A sauna session.

So that what shifts here can begin to carry into your life beyond the retreat.

A Note From Natasha (Jyoti) About This Retreat

Hi, I’m Natasha  I will be guiding this retreat.

My work is centred around helping you finally work on the relationship with yourself and start shedding what’s been holding you back from having your life’s desire and living your life’s purpose.

What would change if, instead of chasing the feeling of being ok, you began to show up more fully as who you truly are and naturally magnetize what your soul is calling in?


I know this journey intimately. This path began through my own journey with love, noticing patterns, attachments, the wounds and beliefs I needed to overcome and how I was abandoning myself. That led me to go deeper, into yoga, Ayurveda, energetics, psychology, physics, and the kind of inner work that allows real, embodied change.

I was given the Sanskrit name Jyoti, meaning bringing light (truth) to what has been hidden.

This has been the heart of my work. Learning to see clearly what has been shaping your patterns, so you can reconnect with yourself, and move through life and relationships with a sense of ease, authenticity, and natural magnetism.

Sometimes what we need is just a little spark to take the next step, a container to feel supported, and a sense that the path is already unfolding beneath our feet, this is the space I hold.

 

I hope that you can join us, bring a friend to share this with. Even though it is deep work, we will navigate this with a sense of humor, lightness and support. I am looking forward to walking this journey with you.

Prerequisites:

To help you arrive feeling prepared and able to go deeper, you’ll receive a simple preparation plan before the retreat.

This includes the following resources :

An Ayurveda fundamentals refresher

A dosha quiz to better understand your constitution

A deeper dive into limiting beliefs through Ayurveda and yoga

The basics won’t be covered in detail during the retreat, so you can use these resources to come in with a stronger foundation.

*  Abhyanga is a therapy from Ayurveda that includes application of an abundant amount of warm herb infused oil throughout the body. It not only nourishes the skin, it is a massage of your internal body systems and organs, it’s a journey we go on together to allow channels to open up and healing to begin or flourish.

** This event is optional though strongly encouraged as there will be a journaling exercise and group activation meditation. This hike is rated easy to accommodate the fitness level of all participants. The hike – and travel to and from the trail – are not insured as part of the retreat at the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga. 

*** It is recommended (and deeply appreciated) to attend the closing circle to share out loud with the group your closing thoughts from the weekend, the ritual of ending something together and feeling complete.
