✨ An Evening of Classical Indian Dance at the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga ✨ Fundraiser

Indian dance style of Bharatanatyam has its origins in the Vedas.  Natya Veda, or Natya Shastra is the oldest text on dance and drama wherein the purpose of art was to entertain as well as elevate the individual performer as well as the audience member to experience the glory of bliss. Through performance art, one sublimates the ego and rises above individual limitations and enters into an altered state of spontaneity, bringing the audience along for the journey.
We’re delighted to invite you to a special evening of Classical Indian Dance, presented by Ishwarya Chaitanya, on Saturday, November 15th at 7:00 pm at the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga.
