A Poetic Glimpse of Karma Yoga
Here at the Salt Spring Center of Yoga, where people meet,
A peaceful place, where hearts feel sweet.
Laughter and kindness fill the air,
In this warm community, love and care.
On the farm, hands in the ground,
Every karma yogi brings joy all around.
West field or the garlic patch, they plant with care,
Seeds of joy, growing everywhere.
Deer roam softly around the place,
While cedar trees stand tall with easy grace.
And with some luck you may catch,
A glimpse of Prince the cat, wandering around the rainbow patch.
The main building holds tales of those who came,
With Babaji’s heritage, a cherished name.
Did you hear the sound of the conch that calls everyone near?
Time to gather for a meal, a moment so dear.
Different smells fill the kitchen air,
Ganesh watches closely, as we cook with care
Dish service one, two, and three,
Together we serve, in harmony.
Who knew such simple things could be
The source of joy, so wild and free?
